                      (i)   Do not soak the wrapper but wash in soapy  water without rubbing the soap in the article.

                      (iv)  Squeeze out the water, do not wring.
                      (v)   Dry in an airy shady place till partially  dry.

                    (b)  Precautions to take when washing a woolen  cardigan
                                -     Outline the cardigan on a table.
              -     Use lukewarm water to prevent felting of wool.    
              -     Carefully wash using kneading and squeezing method.
              -     Thoroughly rinse to remove all traces of soap.
              -     Tie sleeve edges and lower edge of cardigan to prevent.
              -     Spread the dry cardigan on the drawn outline to check the degree of  shrinkage.
