The candidates’ strengths are in their methods of enumeration which was better this year. They were able to itemize their answers very well, and backed it up with good and relevant examples where necessary. They were also able to answer questions
1a ,1b, 2a, 3a, 5a, 5b ,6a and 6c very well. These questions were on ways of making meals interesting, factors for planning family meals, factors to be considered when budgeting for food, differentiate between pairs of cookery terms, dishes suitable for teenage birthday party; cocktail party, sources of information on traditional dishes and creation of a dish using cereals in one’s locality respectively.
