The candidates’ performance on the (a) part of this question which was on the advantages and disadvantages of earthenware and aluminium cooking equipment was average. They performed well on aluminium but were unable to answer for earthenware cooking equipment However, the (b) part of the question, which was on basic large equipment in a modern kitchen, was one of the candidates’ strength.
