The Chief Examiner reported that the standard of the paper when compared with those of the previous years was maintained. The paper was reported to be within the ability of an average candidate and had a good coverage of the different sections of the syllabus. The questions were also reported to be well constructed.
The marking scheme was also reported to be well prepared, detailed and very lenient to the candidates.
According to the Chief Examiner, candidates’ performance appeared to be lower than those of the previous years which was an indication of poor preparation for the examination.
