Candidates had difficulty in answering questions on sound system as well as the oral and written literature aspects of the paper. Candidates had problem with question 1(d) where they were unable to write the two addresses of the formal letter, and most candidates could not write up to the required words of three hundred (300). On the literature aspects of the paper, the candidates could not supply sufficient point as expected from the texts. This could be due to non study of the texts as a result of it non-availability in most schools. So also some candidates fail due to their poor handwriting and expression and to crown it all some schools lack qualified teachers.
