Observation

This question was fairly popular. The points involved were understood by the candidates but some of them mixed the achievement of the regime General Muhammadu Buhari of 1983 – 84 with the regime of President Muhammadu Buhari of 2015 till date which resulted in poor marks. Generally, candidates were expected to mention the following points in order to get good marks:

1. The regime recovered stolen public money from some politicians and public officials.
2. Change of colour of the Nigerian currency helped in checking hoarding and trafficking of the Naira.
3. Introduction of war against indiscipline
4. Control of activities of smugglers and oil bunkers.
5. Deportation of illegal aliens.
6. It upheld the principle of public accountability.
7. It ensured prudent management of available public resources.
8. Introduction of austerity measures.
9. Banning of the importation of luxury goods.
10. Introduction of integrated salary structure.
11. Checked the activities of drug peddlers.
