Most  of the students that attempted the question on weekly cleaning of a plain  wooden surface did not write it sequentially. The (b) part of the question on types of finishing given to wooden  surfaces was very well answered.
                    The  required answers to the question are as follows:    
                    3(a) Description  of weekly cleaning of a plain wooden surface.
                    
                      - Remove  surface  dust  with dry duster 
 
                      - Sprinkle  warm soapy water on a small section
 
                      - Scrub  with a brush following the wood grain
 
                      - Use  wet foam or duster to remove dirt
 
                      - Rinse  by wiping the portion cleaned with foam or duster dipped in clean water
 
                      - Wipe  dry with clean cloth
 
                      - Dry  in an open air
 
                      - Always  use as little water as possible in cleaning a plain wood      
 
                    
                    Note: For full  six marks, look for, dusting, sprinkling small soapy water, scrubbing, rinsing,  wiping dry and drying in the open air, in sequence for weekly cleaning only
