Definition of family was well answered although very few candidates wrote that they were people living together.
The questions on factors that influence family relationships and characteristics of a male adolescent was not well answered.

- CHARACTERISTICS OF A MALE ADOLESCENT
Development of sex organs e.g. the testicle releases hormones into the blood stream
- Muscles develop – the hormones cause the muscles to develop
- They grow hair on the chest, the pubic region, face, etc.
- Testicles produce sperm which is also called male cell
- Changes in voice – the voice becomes deep
- They are very energetic and restless
- Wants to be independent – they feel big enough to do things on their own
- Assertive – wants to be in control, questions authority
- Change in appearance – growth in height and weight
- They start having we dreams during which the discharge sperm
