Major weaknesses of the candidates as pointed out by Chief Examiners are as follows:
Lack of good control of English Language.
Inability to explain some listed points.
Wrong interpretation of some questions.
It is therefore suggested that candidates should be exposed by their teachers to technical
approaches to likely examination questions. Also, reading of Islamic literatures will
enhance their spoken English and at the same time enrich their knowledge of Islamic
Studies. From the part of governments and school proprietors, qualified hands should be
employed to teach Islamic Studies.
