CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES
Candidates lack Aural perception.  Many of them could not notate in staff notation and they instead, wrote in the solfa notation.Many of the candidates could not write the clef, just as they could not arrange the key signature.

SUGGESTED REMEDY
Candidates should prepare adequately by subjecting themselves to rigorous Aural  training before taking an examination of this standard.
