The paper compared well both in scope and standard with those of the previous years. The questions were syllabic framed in simple language and within the reach of the candidates.
The rubric were clear and the marking schemes were detailed and easy to follow. The psychomotive aspect featured more prominently. Cognitive and affective domains measured up to agreeable standard.
The performance of the candidates was better compared to those of previous of years. The candidates population of 665669 recorded a raw mean score of 16 and a standard deviation of 8.77 as against a raw mean of 13 and a standard deviation of 8.77 in the May/June 2013 WASSCE with a candidature of 636924.
