Some candidates failed to visualize the required objects correctly before
attempting to answer the questions. Other areas of weaknesses as reported are
their inability to:
(i) project lines correctly;
(ii) divide lines and curves correctly;
(iii) maintain the lowest point in the drawing of isometric views of an object;
(iv) draw isometric curves where required;
(v) take dimensions correctly.
Candidates are therefore advised to practice drawing from first principle using
the rudiments and basic principles of drawing:
