The paper was reported to have compared favourably with those of the previous
years in terms of standard, scope and clarity. The questions were within the
scope of the syllabus, the marking schemes were carefully prepared to capture
every possible solution, with suitable scores or marks awarded.
Generally candidates were reported to have performed better than the previous
years. More than 55% of the candidates scored above average.
