observation

This is a practical question where candidates were expected to express themselves with the use of good line works, symbols, scale, construction details etc.  Candidates were expected to produce the floor plan, front elevation and sectional details to the required scale.

The question is an alternative to the mechanical option and majority of the candidates attempted it.  Most of the candidates showed poor ability to view an object from a given direction, use of scale and poor line work.
