The question was unpopular as it attracted only a few candidates who performed quite below average. It required an imaginative composition of proportional human figures and objects in the appropriate setting. Candidates were also expected to make use of harmonious colours and tones. All the important elements were conspicuously missing in the works and in most cases; compositions were not relevant to the stipulated theme.
This led to a substantial part of the obtainable marks being lost by the candidates.
