The following weaknesses were seen in candidates’ drawing:

• Poor draughtsmanship;
• Failure in showing cutting plane;
• Repetition of the same design instead of two different designs;
• Use of straight edge to draw instead of freehand.

To overcome these weaknesses, candidates should be given design and drawing assignments that will test these parameters.
