The standard of the paper was reported to be okay and compare favourably with those of previous years.  The questions were clear and free of any form of ambiguity.  The marking scheme was prepared to adequately capture all the plausible  responses and marks were fairly and judiciously awarded.  However, candidates performance was  poorer than the previous years.
