Candidates’ Weaknesses

Majority of the candidates who did not perform very well in the paper could not read the measuring instruments correctly.  They also found it difficult to indicate the correct units to the circuit parameters they were supposed to measure.

Suggested Remedies

Teachers should therefore lay more emphasis on the importance of correct units attached to the parameters to be measured during practical lessons.  This also presupposes that pupils should be exposed to a lot of practical lessons.
