The following weaknesses were observed in candidates’ responses:

(1)        Poor performance of candidates in answering questions on Magnetism and
                        Electrical Installation.
           
(2)       Candidates’ inability to indicate units of their answers.

Suggested Remedies

(1)        In order to develop candidates’ interest, teachers should make the subject
            real to life rather than abstract.

(2)        All sections of the syllabus should be given the necessary attention so that
            candidates' knowledge of certain section of the syllabus will not be
            shallow.
