The standard of the paper is as high as those of the previous years’ examinations in terms of quality of the questions and skills tested.

The paper covered a great deal of the examination syllabus.  Many candidates neglected the peculiarity to countries in Questions 5 and 6 under  Section B. The rubrics were clear and adequate. The marking scheme in its entirety was adequate and flexible.

The performance of the candidates was below expectation compared with the previous year.
