Observation

These candidates were required to:

  1. connect lamps through switches to a source of power supply (a.c);
  2. Observe and record the behaviour of the lamps as the switches are operated.

The lamp will be ON when both switches A and B are either in ON or OFF position.
The lamp will be OFF when any of the switches A and B is either in ON or OFF position.

Candidates displayed the same strength and weakness as in question one. They got and recorded correctly the behaviour of the lamp but were not all able to interpret the ON and OFF behaviour
