The above mentioned questions were on literary appreciation of works of various literary icons from which excerpts were given. Candidates with good background of Arabic performed very well by giving relevant interpretations of some excerpts and detailed biographical accounts of some poets as the case may be. Apart from that, circumstances surrounding the composition of such excerpts were also given.
