Candidates displayed a good knowledge of Arabic on the average. This became manifest in the following areas:
- Mastery of Arabic sytax (Nahw) and Morphology (Sarf)
- Good literary appreciation of poetic excerpts given.
- Use of appropriate diction in letter writing.
