The Standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous  years.  The rubrics were clear and  concise. The questions were straightforward and within the scope of the  examination syllabus. The marking scheme was flexible and fair to candidates.
                        With a raw mean score of 20 and standard deviation of 9.27, the  performance of candidates was poorer than in the May/June 2007 WASSCE when the  raw mean score was 25 and standard deviation was 10.30.
