Modulations

Identify the three modulations in the following passage as either relative minor, subdominant or dominant keys.  Each test on modulations will be played three times.  The passage is in the key of C major.

Observation

Interestingly , majority of the candidates were able to identify the modulations as follows and scored high marks

  1.   Dominant  -  Key  G major
  2.   Subdominant – Key F major
  3.   Relative minor – Key A minor.
