A good number of the candidates showed lack of understanding in the following areas:
- free hand drawing;
- geometrical construction;
- use of drawing instruments;
- adherence to the rubrics;
- mechanical drawing.
SUGGESTED REMEDY FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESS
Candidates are hereby advised to practice regularly and prepare adequately for the examination. They should also be encouraged to purchase and use textbooks as well as visits to workshops and building sites.
