The following weaknesses were identified in candidates’ performance.

(a) Inadequate preparation for the examination.
(b) Lack of indepth knowledge of technical terms.
(c) Inorderly presentation of ideas, facts thereby deviating from the focus topics.
(d) Wrong interpretation of questions.
(e) Inability to describe the features of art works.

In order to overcome the weaknesses identified above, candidates should

 (i) prepare adequately by reading relevant textbooks for the examinations.
(ii) learn to present their ideas, facts in logical and orderly manner.
(iii) acquire adequate grammatical skill that would enable them to interprete questions accurately and succinctly.
(iv) Improve in their handwritings.
