A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

            Majority of the candidates failed to:

            -           read the questions so as to understand the tasks required;
            -           adhere to the practice of good draughtsmanship;
            -           include the overall dimensions.

To overcome these weaknesses, more drawing assignments should be given to students to enhance their flexibility in design.  Also, they should be made to visit standard woodwork shops.
