A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

            The candidates were generally weak in:

            -           listing types of manufactured board;
            -           stating advantages of casein glue over animal glue;
            -           listing hand tools used in wood turning.

To overcome these weaknesses, more emphasis should be laid on the areas listed above and more practical assignments be given to the students.
