Candidates Weakness

The candidates’ weaknesses include;

Wrong interpretation of some questions e.g. purposes scalp manipulation in question 2(c) as a negative act hence causes headache, pains, poor growth of hair etc. .

The candidates were unable to attempt question 4(a) which was on conditions that determine skin analysis for plain facials. They used residual knowledge of oiling, washing and combing to answer it.

The following solutions were proffered to overcome those weaknesses;

Teachers should endeavour to teach all the topics in the examination syllabus;
students should be encouraged to cultivate good reading habit;
students should be dedicated to their studies;
Teachers should attend seminars and workshops;
Students should explore the internet facilities to improve themselves
