Candidates' Weakness

One evident weakness on the part of the candidates is manifested in the fact that only very few gave correct responses to questions from those areas of the syllabus (parallel resonance, EX-OR logic, lines of magnetic field intensity for current carrying conductor) that were being tested for the first time in several years.

Suggested Remedy

Candidates are well-advised to cover the syllabus as much as possible, giving  particular attention to specifications provided by the “teaching syllabus”.
