Observation

The candidate was required to write a letter to the director of health services in his/her community discussing at least three ways in which the quality of health care in his /her community can be improved. Some candidates who chose this question expressed good ideas even though they could not marshall their points properly because of weak expression. However, some candidates did not understand the requirement of the question, so they dwelt largely on the issue of environmental sanitation which is not the demand of the question. Also, some of the candidates who attempted the question got the formal features of a formal letter.
A few of the candidates gave directives to the Director of Health Services as regards what he should do.
