CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

Some of the weaknesses observed in the candidates’ scripts were:

Lack of sufficient materials for salesmanship which is affecting the performances of the students

SUGGESTED REMEDIES

1. The candidates should learn the use of English grammar to enable them express their points clearly and correctly.
2. Government should endeavour to recruit qualified teachers with qualification in Business Education Purchasing and Supply as this is a new subject.
3. Teachers should thoroughly teach the candidates the aspect of memo.
4. Candidates should study standard text books as recommended by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) in preparing for the examination rather than answering questions with residual knowledge.
