The candidates could not adequately answer the questions asked on:

-        safety precautions observed when repairing aluminium panels;
-        steps taken when welding aluminium panels;
-        materials used for plastic repair and
-        merits of fibre glass in auto body construction.

    SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING THEWEAKNESSES

Candidates were urged to study every item contained in their subjects study outlines. Teachers, also, were advised not to skip any part of the syllabus in grooming the students for the examination.
