Candidates that answered this question performed well in the first aspect of it which was biographical in nature but failed in bringing the required poetical lines for illustration. This could be attributed to their non-familiarity with the particular eulogy composed by the poet for Harm bn Sanan and al-Harith bn. ‘Awf  because some of them illustrated with other poetical lines of the poet outside the specified composition. By and large, their performance was just fair.
