This question was also on literary appreciation. This time around, candidates were given three lines of prose quoted from a book called (Idfa‘billatī hiya Aḥsan). The candidates were asked to give and mention the speaker and the occasion on which the statement was made. Very few candidates performed well in this question. It seems the candidates were not familiar with the book despite its being one of the recommended books for the year in question. Generally, Candidates' performance was poor.
