Majority of the candidates could not explain endangered species.
A lot of candidates could state the reasons why conservation of forest is important. Many candidates gave the economic importance, they mentioned that forest is the main source of timber. Importance like tourist attraction, biological importance were also mentioned. Candidates could also state the methods by which forest can be conserved namely, forestation, only mature trees should be felled , others include educating the local community on the dangers of deforestation.
Many candidates could not state the importance of decomposers in the ecosystem
The few who answered it, correctly could not give correct examples.

Importance of decomposers in the ecosystem
They break down organic materials; that are difficult for organisms to digest; they return organic matter to the environment in an inorganic form; so that they can be re-assimilated by plants/recycling nutrients.
