General Comments

The paper compared favourably well with those of previous years. The standard was good marking scheme was exhaustive and rubrics were clear.
The performance of the candidates was poorer than that of the previous year with a raw mean score of 18 and standard deviation of 6.00 this year compared to a raw mean score of 26 and a standard deviation of 12.61 for the WASSCE for PC 2017. The total population of candidates that sat for this examination was 157,060.
