General Comments

The paper compared favourably well with those of previous years. The standard was good marking scheme was exhaustive and rubrics were clear.

The performance of candidates this year, with a raw mean score of 26 and standard deviation of 10.68 was poorer than that of last year with a raw mean score of 27 and standard deviation of 10.20 for WASSCE (PC1) 2019. The total number of candidates that sat the examination was 9,079.
