The standard of the paper was high and compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were well framed and rubrics were clear. The marking scheme was exhaustive and adequate.

The performance of candidates this year with a raw mean score of 37 and standard deviation of 9.54 was poorer than that of WASSCE for SC, 2021 with a raw mean score of 40 and standard deviation of 10.00. The total number of candidates that sat the examination was 1,048,242.
