Most candidates were able to state three causes of accident on site;
- State two functions of a road kerb.
- State two desirable properties of materials used for the construction of a pedestrian walkway.
However, majority of the candidates were not able to sketch the elevation of steel gate in a fence wall and label the following parts:
(i)shutter;
(ii)concrete post;
(iii)fence wall.

(ii)to prevent erosion on the sides of the road;
(iii)to define pedestrian walkway;
(iv)to direct surface water into the road gutter.

(ii)it should have sufficient strength;
(iii)it should be impermeable to water;
(iv)it should be resistant to friction.
