Observation

 

 

Question 1(a) many candidates responded by giving specific breakfast menu (e.g. oat, toast) instead of types (English breakfast) in 1(b) most candidates could not differentiate between items and food commodities and they listed the later such as rice, beans etc.
Instead of items which are mainly reusable materials that assist in food service e.g. tea cup, saucer etc.
for the candidates that were able to group the idea of items over commodities, some of them were not familiar with continental breakfast which is light simple meal and would not require conventional cutlery such as joint fork and joint knife that were listed by the candidates.
