The standard of the paper was very good and compared favourably with those of previous years. The rubrics were clear and questions are well structured in simple comprehensive language with adequate coverage of the syllabus.
The marking scheme was flexible and fair to the candidates. Their performance this year was a bit poorer considering a candidature of 159110 with a raw mean score of 15 and a standard deviation of 09.11 with that of November/December 2010 WASSCE which has a candidature of 127396 with a raw mean score of 17 and a standard deviation of 09.33.
