General Comments
The standard of the paper was high and compared favourably with those of the previous years. The questions were within the scope of the examination syllabus. The marking scheme was detailed and captured the expected responses of the candidates.
The raw mean score of 24.0 and standard deviation of 14.97 indicated that the performance of the candidates was better than WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2019-first series with a raw mean score of 19.0 and standard deviation of 14.83. A total of 6,289 candidates sat the paper.
