General Comments
The standard of the paper was very good and compared favourably with those of previous years. The rubrics were clear, concise and unambiguous.
The questions were well structured and within the scope of the syllabus. The marking scheme was detailed, flexible and fair to candidates.
The candidates’ raw mean score of 27 and standard deviation of 8.83 indicated that their
performance was better than that of May/June 2014 where the raw mean score was 25
with a standard deviation of 9.06.
The total number of candidates that sat for the May/June 2015 WASSCE was 691, 407.
