General Comments

The standard of the paper was high and compared favourably with those of the previous years. The question were straight forward, unambiguous and within the scope of the syllabus. The marking schemes were detailed.

The performance of the candidates was better than WASSCE for School Candidates, 2018 with a raw mean score of 27.0 and standard deviation of 9.22 compared to a raw mean score of 24.0 and standard deviation of 9.95 for WASSCE for School Candidates, 2018. The total number of candidates that sat the examination was 762,595.
