Observation
This was a popular question. The performance of most candidates who answered it was good as they really understood the demand of the question. Candidates did well in the (A) and they scored high marks. The (B) part further enhanced the scores of candidates as they used their everyday experiences of the benefits of act of kindness. The (A) part required full explanation and most candidates gave a full explanation to this.
(A) Definition of interpersonal relationship: This is a type/act/process of interaction between two or more people in society for the promotion of peaceful coexistence and other related benefits.
(B) Some of the answers candidates were expected to provide in B include:
- Giving deserved attention to each other.
- Willingness to assist each other.
- Showing empathy and compassion towards each other.
- Being selfless.
- Being accommodating/open minded.
- Showing kindness to others without necessarily expecting reward.
- Overlooking and forgiving misdeeds of others.
- Respecting others and their views.
- Being honest to each other.
- Being patient with each other/tolerant.
