The candidates’ weakness was on Question 3[c] which was on rules to observe when applying embroidery to a garment. They were unable to explain these rules, so they loose some marks. Many candidates could not draw diagrams correctly.

To overcome these weaknesses, schools should provide adequate text books for students to enhance learning.

Teachers should teach every topic in the syllabus.

 Students should be encouraged to cultivate reading culture
