Observation

Most of the candidates could not define the vending machine.  But the majority of the candidate did very well in part (b) of the question:  The expected definition of a vending machine is as follows:

A vending machine is a movable machine with loading compartments
for goods like cigarettes, soft drink, and sweets.  It has a slot to put
in coins and a lever to pull to collect the goods paid for
