General Weakness

-Candidates showed weakness in questions 2a (i), (ii), 4, 5a, 6a and 7.

-Poor preparation for the examination.  This was observed in candidates’ poor responses to questions, showing inadequate knowledge of the subject.

- Insufficient knowledge of the subject, as a result they could not satisfactorily attempt application questions.

SUGGESTED REMEDIES

(i) Candidates should be encouraged to study standard and comprehensive textbooks in their preparation for the examination rather than relying on key-points.
(ii) Candidates should be taught how to answer examination questions. 

(iii) Government should endeavour to recruit qualified Business Education graduates to teach the subject.
